Our Mission

To teach individuals and families, through holistic and trauma-informed counseling,  the skills to restore their souls, bodies and Spirits from brokenness; guide and support mental health professionals through supervision and consultation services; and provide professional development to equip counselors for growth and success in their careers.  

 

Our Purpose

Trinity Professional Counseling and Development Services is a woman and minority owned small business located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  It was formed in August 2022 and its mission is driven by Mrs. Arriba Walker, MA,LPC.  As a survivor and victor of past trauma, she saw the need for providing holistic therapeutic trauma informed care to  individuals and families by helping to restore their souls, bodies and Spirits where brokenness has interrupted the path to fulfilling purpose. Specifically, this has been witnessed in underserved and minority populations where there are barriers to receiving mental health services as well as attached stigmas.   In addition, she also sees a need to support mental health professionals through consultation, supervision and professional development to equip them to implement best practices to consumers as well as be culturally competent. She also recognizes that there is a need for more African American and minority therapists as well as an increased need for therapists to be specifically trained in trauma informed care to deal with individuals who have experienced trauma.
